My family makes me realize this month that I will always miss my mom. It’s not about making muffins from scratch or knowing how to get applesauce out of a favorite shirt. It’s about love and lots of it.
Well said! My one daughter is all of those things too (my other daughter is too small to be anything more than a sweet little peanut these days but I’m sure she will be just as awesome). And yes, it really is about love isn’t it.

Aw, this is beautiful.
And I’m so sorry about your mom. I lost my dad at 16, and I don’t think that it’s something that you ever really recover from, although my circumstances were very different.

Sorry for your dad too. Losing a parent at any age is tough.
Thought i would shout-out to my kiddos.
